Terms of Service

By creating an account or using ProfitLogHQ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use ProfitLogHQ. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

ProfitLogHQ is a trading journal and analytics platform. It allows you to log, import, and analyse your personal trading activity. It is a record-keeping tool, not a financial advisory service.

Nothing on ProfitLogHQ constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. All analytics and reports are for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

You must notify us immediately at security@profitloghq.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Each person may maintain only one free account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.

The free plan allows up to 10 manual trade entries with no time limit. No credit card is required.

The Pro plan is billed monthly. Your subscription begins after the 7-day free trial ends (no credit card required to start the trial).

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period, then revert to the free plan. No refunds are issued for partial months unless required by law.

We will give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date.

Payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. ProfitLogHQ never stores payment card details.

ProfitLogHQ is for your own personal trading journal use only. You may not use it to provide services to third parties without our written consent.

You may not: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; (b) upload malicious code; (c) use automated scripts to access the Service; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts; (e) resell or sublicense access to the Service.

Any content you upload (notes, screenshots, journal entries) must not contain illegal material, hate speech, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

You retain full ownership of all trading data, notes, and content you upload to ProfitLogHQ. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service for you.

You may export all your data at any time from account settings. We will maintain export functionality for as long as your account exists.

Upon account deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProfitLogHQ's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any trading losses you incur, loss of data (beyond what is covered by our backup policy), or indirect/consequential damages.

You may close your account at any time from account settings. This immediately cancels your subscription at the end of the current period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow for reactivation before permanent deletion.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration before resorting to litigation.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
